Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Blake! Christmas morning came and Santa did not disappoint the Hickman boys. (He even ate all his cookies and drank his milk that was left for him!) Asher was thrilled to find "the only present he wanted", a scooter under the tree! Caleb got loads of Thomas the Train tracks, trains, etc. Nate hung out in his bouncy seat, quite content watching his brothers go crazy. Asher wanted to open all the presents in record time while Caleb was more methodical and prefered to open one and then wanted to play with whatever he had just opened. It was funny trying to watch him open presents one- handed because the other hand was holding whatever toy he had just opened before! Nana and Papaw flew in from Arkansas and got to the house around lunchtime. We had Christmas dinner with one of Blake's friends from high school, Brandon, who is doing his fellowship at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. With such a packed day, we celebrated Daddy's 31st birthday the next night! Whew, with all these birthdays around Christmas, I think I'm going to need to learn how to juggle everything better!

Did I see a scooter under the tree? Corban plays with all of the kids scooter on our street. We still have not bought him one yet - you know free is better I think. We will likely get him one for his b'day in July.
Our boy does not ride it he just loves to hold the handle bars and walk with it up and down the street.
