Ladies and Gentlemen...

Today was Asher's circus day at school and they had a performance for all the moms and dads. The kids got to pick what they wanted to be from lions and tigers to jugglers, strong men, tight rope walkers, and gymnasts. First, Asher picked a tiger, but then changed his mind to a tight rope walker. He then learned that he didn't get to walk "up high" and was a bit disappointed, but he did a great job "only walking on the floor" as he would say! We took the boys' buddy Elijah and left Natey Nate at Elijah's house to play with Hudson. Thanks Mrs. Allison and Mr. Nick!

Bubbs Turns Three!

Wow! It's hard to believe Caleb is three! He just seems so big to me! His birthday always seems to get lost in the craziness of December, but I think he loves it being so close after Christmas. Just when the Christmas toys are not so new anymore, he has birthday ones to look forward to! This year we got him a Cars scooter that actually has three wheels so I guess I could say we got him a tri-scooter! Somehow we didn't get a picture of him on it... probably because he is still not too sure about riding it. It is still taking up residence in the house though so Caleb can "practice" riding it! Of course his birthday was all transformers... cake, balloons, plates, you name it. I keep asking myself "What three year old knows all about transformers?" Obviously ones like mine with older brothers who learn about all kinds of fun things from preschool! We are loving this stage of superheroes though. I love to listen to Caleb play. He's usually a different "guy" every day. From Superman to Optimus Prime (leader of the transformers for all y'all that didn't know... I had no clue at first!), Caleb loves to pretend he is that someone. He will even make you call him by that name when you are talking to him! Happy Birthday Bubbs! We love you! new helmet for my Cars scooter

A Catch Up Christmas Post

Alright, I know it's really sad that I am just now posting our Christmas pictures.... We had a wonderful, relaxing Christmas at home this year. Well.... relaxing AND exhausting. The older the boys get, the more tired out Blake and I are at the end of the day! The boys were up bright and early, ready to see what Santa had brought! Transformers and costumes to wear seemed to be the highlight this year! The boys played "brave knights" all day long although Asher wore his football jersey all day too. He would just rotate back and forth between football player and knight. Natey Nate was fun this year and loved opening all his presents, and helping everyone else too! (to the dismay of his brothers) Daddy also had a great 32nd birthday... he's just getting so old! Ha! I told him we need to start making him a sign to wear every year that says It's My Birthday! You know, so we'll remember :)

SNOW!

We woke up this morning to 4 inches of beautiful SNOW! Raleigh hasn't had any measurable snow since the winter before Asher was born so this was really the first time any of the boys had seen snow! At least at their house! Being from Colorado I still have to laugh about how excited everyone gets about the littlest bit of the stuff. But it makes it so fun since it really never happens! It was COLD out there.... the boys all came in with red cheeks and noses. Well except for Blake who is still sporting his Peruvian sunburn! Happy Snow Day! Off to fix some hot chocolate...

Isaiah was unimpressed
(I think he still remembers his early days when he lived in Colorado and had to stay outside in his doogie igloo all winter long!)

All Nighter!

That's right folks! My first all nighter... in the good sort of way though! I slept through the night last night AND the night before! At six weeks old too! Definitely beats all my other brothers! Mom says it's perfect timing since Dad's out of town until next Monday! Way to go Judah Bug! O, and she says she hasn't forgoten that she has a blog! More posts coming soon...
