Caleb as King Xerxes

Caleb's kindergarten class put on a play about Esther for their chapel program. At Grace, each class is responsible for putting together a program to perform for chapel once during the school year. The play was adorable and Caleb did such a great job! He had lots of lines to memorize and was so proud! The best part was where he was "choosing his queen" and as each little girl came up, he waved his finger and said, "nope", "nope", "nope".... until he got to Esther!
One of Caleb's best little buddies, Robert (he is in the front row with the shorter bluish/ gray sheet draped around him with the red tie) was Haman and did such a fantastic job with lots of expression and gusto! The two of them together as King Xerxes and Haman was hysterical! Sooo cute! Caleb has had such a fun kindergarten year with a precious teacher. This is a picture of them singing worship songs complete with the motions that she has taught them during their Bible time!

Dost your eyes deceive you??!!

I know... if you are looking at this blog you must be about to fall out of your chair seeing as how there actually is a new post. I have been an MIA blogger since about the middle of last fall, but am going to try to do better. Don't know if I'll be able to catch up from all the events that I missed... Maddox's birthday, Judah's birthday, Christmas, Caleb's birthday, trip to Florida.... you can see a bit why I've been MIA. Life has just gotten so crazy with five kiddos. AND a house on the market that you've been trying to sell for over a year! This hasn't been the easiest season for us... we have been sick around here, ALOT! Not with anything major, but between the seven of us, it feels like there is always something going on with someone... ear infection, fever, well check for someone, pink eye, ear recheck, ears full of fluid= double ear infection, colds/ allergies/ congestion, sore throats, the list is never ending I'm afraid. It has also been a tough season for me as several very dear friends of mine that I have been blessed to live close to and do life with for a long time are moving away (or have already moved away). And when I say several, that's what I mean! God has definitely been working to stretch and grow me in lots of different ways that have been very hard for me.
All that to say.... I am back on the blogging train and will try to start updating more regularly about life and what's going on with us! My baby isn't so much of a baby anymore.... 16 months and into.everything. EVERYTHING! Until the next post.... (which will be soon... fingers crossed!)
