Hot Summer fun in.... April?

Thanks for the pictures Allison.... I've decided whenever we go anywhere and I have all four I don't even need to bring my camera because chances are I won't have a chance to take any pictures anyway!

Easter pics.... one week after!

Since I didn't get any pictures on Easter Sunday of the boys in their church clothes I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous day this past Sunday. Spring has finally sprung. Hooray!

Caleb Leslie
Asher Kirk
Best Buddies
I just need to keep this picture in my mind daily when I'm ready to strangle both of them!

Two Little Bunnies

I have some pictures of Asher and Caleb when they were the same ages as Nate and Judah, wearing these same bunny ears so I thought it would be fun to get some with the little guys too. I can't wait to put the two pictures next to each other to compare. (Whatever did we do without a digital camera just 3 years ago!)
Nate ( 20 months) and Judah (4 months)
Hey..... wait a minute
Yep, I bribed Nate with Mickey Mouse gummies
Judah was just taking it all in...

Boys in Pajamas

I'll let this post speak for itself.....

More of Easter

We had a wonderful Easter this year. It was so fun to have egg hunts with the boys this year as Asher and Caleb were both all about them. Although we did have to have many talks about not running around screaming "It's mine", "It's mine"! Even Nate understood he was supposed to put the eggs in his basket! We had gorgeous weather here and unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the boys decked out in their church clothes.... The Easter Bunny visited after lunch and they had already changed into playclothes. O well....
Then after naps we went for a fun picnic at the park with some sweet friends. What a wonderful day to celebrate Jesus!

Easter!

Monkey Business

Just a cute picture of A and C with their little monkey beanie babies! They were having a good time playing "monkeys" with them the other day. Who are they kidding... they play monkeys all the time!

Natey Nate's Seats

For those of you that know Nate, you know that he is turning in to quite the ham. I find myself constantly laughing at him throughout the day. Here are some pictures I've gotten of him lately in all sorts of unique spots.....
Love those big diaper boxes from BJ's

Trying out Judah's carseat

Sweet boy

In new swim ring (watching a little tv... it's the only time I can get him to be still to get a picture!)
Asleep on the couch in the middle of the morning... notice he is still in his jammies and has Caleb's Crocs on all ready to go outside!
"Look Mom, I'm not too big for this Bumbo thing!"

New chair... haha (yes, he's watching tv again!)

Nate in the Bumbo at 4 mo.
(I guess it's the chair that grows with your child!!!)

Visit to LU

This weekend Judah and I went to my old stomping grounds (aka Liberty University) with some sweet friends of ours to check out the school for Sara who is a rising high school senior beginning the "college search". I had such a wonderful time first of all just relaxing with ONE kiddo, second of all getting to spend time with Tina who is like a big sister to me, and third reminiscing about all the good memories and times I had when I was at Liberty! It is absolutely unbelievable all the new buildings and things that have been done there since I graduated almost 10 years now. (yikes!) The place is HUGE in comparison... it now has a main campus, north campus, east campus, I guess you get the picture. LU busses that take you from one end of the place to another! Of course the day started out just how I remembered with it RAINING! And of course it was raining sideways, cold, and windy... you guys remember those days when it would flip your umbrella upside down! Fortunately it cleared up just as we got there for convocation and it was great, sunny spring weather for the rest of the time. It was crazy being in convo and walking around campus seeing all the students on their cell phones! Okay I know I'm not THAT old, but when we were there, NO ONE had one! I got to see one of my favorite, favorite, favorite professors, Mrs. Towles and catch up with her... so fun! We also took Sara to check out all the different dorm rooms since we know some girls that are students up there so that was fun too!
Of course Tina and I got to have lots of good, uninterrupted talking time, yummy food (hello Olive Garden!), and Judah even got to go hang out with the Riders for a little while on Friday afternoon so I was even kidless for a few hours! Imagine THAT! All in all it was a wonderful weekend... made me miss my college girls SO much (you know who you are!) And Blake even survived here on the home front with the other three! By the way, he is wonder dad... had the house vacuumed, cleaned, and flowers waiting on the kitchen table for me when we got home!

Sara and her friends walking down the stairs from the "Hill"
(Am and Kerry... how many times did we run down this hill that had NO stairs in the mud and rain almost falling in our jean skirts down to our ankles, when we of course were late to class?!!!)
Dr. Falwell's grave on the mansion lawn
can't even get over how huge convocation is now... the whole Vines Center is filled!
steps in front of DeMoss Hall
me and Mrs. Towles (please forgive my eyes that are borderline shutting... nice huh! But I HAD to put up the picture of Mrs. Towles!)
Judah Bug was unimpressed with convo!
the new bookstore at the entrance to campus!
