Caleb's Princess and Knight Ball

The kindergarteners at Grace study about different countries throughout the year. They make passports and get to stamp them with all the places they "journey" to. One of the countries they study about is England... thus a trip to the tea room (a couple posts ago) and a fancy ball where they get to dress up like a princess or a knight. They practice ballroom dance steps in their PE class for a couple weeks before and then have the ball where they get to perform for all the parents. It is so SO sweet!
Princess Taylor and Knight Caleb
Welcome to the ball
C being silly with one of his best buds, Robert
not a very good attempt at a class shot
Mommy and her prince.... there is a special part where all the moms get to dance with their sons and all the dads get to dance with their daughters.... so sweet!
Getting ready to start their dance... Caleb was so funny. He took it so seriously and concentrated very hard to get all the steps right. The best part was when the time of the sang came and they were supposed to "twirl" their partner. C's partner, Eliza was so adorable. She's actually in the other kindergarten class (both classes participate in the ball together) so for a few weeks before when I would ask Caleb who he was dancing with he would tell me he couldn't remember her name! Whaaaaaaat? When I realized she was in the other class it made sense!
So proud!
